Local Support Manager (LSM)

The LSM

Program Support Manager (PSM)

The PSM is the go-to person for arranging programs and events offered to, or hosted by, girls and Troops. The PSM is your one-stop-shop for questions if you are interested in hosting an event, seeking help looking for an event or connecting with those hosting an event. The PSM also receives flyer drafts, provides feedback for changes to ensure events meet Girl Scout safety and event standards, and represent the requested events to the full SUMT team for approval.

Camporee Coordinators

The SU hosts both an older girl (Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador) and a younger girl (Daisy, Brownie, and Junior) camporee, both of which are completely volunteer led.

Product Sales: Cookie Product Manager

This volunteer coordinates the overall season of preparing Troop Cookie Manager, arranging the Initial Order delivery and Troop pickup, and works closely with the Cupboard and Booth coordinators. At the close of the season, this role also receives and distributes the rewards to Troops.

Product Sales: Cupboard

The Cupboard volunteer oversees the physical ‘warehouse’ of unassigned cookies at their home (usually, or another location). They are responsible for tracking the delivered inventory, assigning to and receiving any damaged products from troops, and helping arrange the sale’s end disbursement of cookies back to the warehouse or other receiving location.

Product Sales: Booth Coordinator

This person is tasked with working with local businesses to arrange for girls to sell cookies outside of the store or other location. This role is also responsible for reviewing and approving any private (non-shared) booth locations to ensure they meet the Girl Scout standards and safety for cookie sales.

Product Sales: Fall Sales Manager

This volunteer coordinates all aspects of the service unit’s participation in the Fall Take Action Program. This typically involves less product volume than cookies, currently does not involve booth sales, but provides a valuable support resource to troops participating in this sale of candies, nuts, and magazines.
